Die Vorlesung Einführung in die Pädagogik (BiWi 1.1) vermittelt allgemeine Grundlagen der Bildungswissenschaft. Sie bietet Orientierung in systematischen, historischen und aktuellen Entwürfen der Pädagogik und führt in zentrale Grundbegriffe (u. a. Erziehung, Bildung, Didaktik) ein. Exemplarische Theorieentwicklungen und disziplinäre Diskussionsfelder – etwa die Theorie-Praxis-Relation, die Entwicklung von Bildungswissenschaft als Disziplin u.a.m. – werden vorgestellt, in ihren Reichweiten und Grenzen diskutiert und in Bezug auf professionsbezogene Kontexte für angehende Lehrer*innen eingeordnet. Dabei werden auch begriffsgeschichtliche Genealogien sichtbar gemacht als auch Perspektiven von Kritik aufgezeigt.
The course “Introduction to Pedagogy” (BiWi 1.1) covers the general fundamentals of educational science. It provides an overview of systematic, historical, and contemporary approaches in pedagogy and introduces key basic concepts (including upbringing, education, and didactics). Exemplary theoretical developments and areas of disciplinary debate—such as the theory-practice relationship, the development of educational science as a discipline, and more—are presented, discussed in terms of their scope and limitations, and contextualized within professional settings for prospective teachers. In doing so, the historical genealogy of these concepts is explored, and critical perspectives are highlighted.
