Jakob-Feiks:
Wie verstehen wir Kunst – und wie entwickelt sich daraus eine eigene künstlerische Praxis?
In der Lehrveranstaltung setzen wir uns mit unterschiedlichen Zugängen zu zeitgenössischer Kunst auseinander. Dabei untersuchen wir, wie Wahrnehmung, Material, Raum, Körper, gesellschaftliche Zusammenhänge und persönliche Erfahrungen künstlerisches Arbeiten beeinflussen. Auch das Verhältnis zwischen dem, was unmittelbar sichtbar ist, und dem, was nur angedeutet, erinnert oder vorgestellt werden kann, spielt dabei eine Rolle.
Ausgehend von Kunstwerken, Ausstellungsbesuchen und praktischen Übungen entwickeln die Studierenden eigene oder kollaborative künstlerische Projekte. Es wird experimentiert, skizziert, gesammelt, gebaut, gezeichnet, erzählt, verändert und diskutiert.
Im Mittelpunkt steht der künstlerische Prozess: Wie entsteht eine Idee? Wie verändert sie sich durch Material, Ort und Begegnung? Wie können unterschiedliche Perspektiven in eine Arbeit einfließen? Und wie kann ein Projekt präsentiert und für andere zugänglich gemacht werden?
Ziel ist es, eigene Interessen, Fragestellungen und Arbeitsweisen zu erkennen, zu reflektieren und daraus eine eigenständige künstlerische Position zu entwickeln...
..**Jakob-Feiks:** How do we understand art – and how can an individual artistic practice develop from this? In this course, we will engage with different approaches to contemporary art. We will explore how perception, material, space, the body, social contexts, and personal experiences shape artistic practice. The relationship between what is immediately visible and what can only be suggested, remembered, or imagined will also play a role. Starting from artworks, exhibition visits, and practical exercises, students will develop individual or collaborative artistic projects. We will experiment, sketch, collect, build, draw, narrate, transform, and discuss. The artistic process will be at the centre of the course: How does an idea emerge? How does it change through material, place, and encounter? How can different perspectives become part of an artistic work? And how can a project be presented and made accessible to others? The aim is to identify and reflect on individual interests, questions, and ways of working, and to develop them into an independent artistic position.
